In addition to traditional consulting services, and for new ventures or lines of business involving significant risk, we often take equity in the new venture as compensation for our service.
How do we do this? We are highly selective about the projects we take on. We consider ourselves a "mental venture capital" company—investing our mental efforts for a piece of equity, revenues or profits.
Oh yea...did we mention speed? We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and the blazingly fast speed with which we bring new ideas to market. Be sure to ask us how we saved a major internet company over $200,000 in development costs in one weekend.
Our history deeply connected to eBay, one of the world's most successful internet companies. Our founder, Rob Ratterman, co-founded a company called Up4Sale.com in 1996. Up4Sale grew to become the second largest person-to-person auction site on the internet, and eventually became eBay's first acquisition in 198. Working inside eBay for the next four years, our entrepreneurial team was constantly charged with inventing, building and launching new products and whole new lines of business. We decided in 2002 to explore new challenges, build new ideas of our own, and offer our can-do work style to other companies.
If you think your project might be a good fit for our services, we would love to hear from you. Please contact us.
